If a high-performance motor is employed in a model aircraft or helicopter, it is normally virtually impossible to set up a regulated fuel supply. The Webra pressure regulator solves this problem by ensuring that the carburettor is fed an adequate quantity of fuel commensurate with any throttle barrel opening. This is achieved by pressurising the fuel
tank by means of a connection to the motors crankcase (backplate). This means that the fuel is supplied at adequate pressure to the pressure regulator, which in turn passes
it on to the carburettor under regulated flow conditions. The pressure regulator itself is also connected to the silencer, and it is the silencer pressure which controls the
fuel regulator process, i.e. The quantity of fuel supplied to the carburettor varies according to motor speed: carburettor open-maximum fuel supply. The unit can be attached to the motor lugs using the mount supplied.
